Organised and curated by Forte e.V., the festival is dedicated to exchange between oud musicians and other instrumentalists, students and other interested parties from various disciplines who wish to explore the different schools and traditions of Arabic oud music.
The residency took place at Umerigu, providing the artists with a dedicated space to rehearse and the Oud masters with facilities to conduct their workshops on the ground floor. Umerigu also provided accommodation for the team, masters, and students on the first floor and offered catering throughout the entire residency period for all participants.
